Ivan Kelvie is a professional Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT) based in Coventry, UK. Ivan has been practising since December 2011. I would like to thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. I offer an opportunity for you to explore your feelings and difficulties in a safe, warm, friendly and confidential environment. I work and understand in a non-judgemental way.  I am an integrative counsellor using cognitive therapy and person centred counselling in addition I use face to face counselling techniques and training.

I am currently working at the 'Lighthouse Christian Care Ministry'. I am an experienced Counsellor offering my counselling services ranging from various mental health issues from all ethnical, cultural, backgrounds, empowering equality, diversity and inclusivity treatment following BACP ethical framework for good practice in counselling.

I am a BACP member and I am also studying to become a psychotherapist and work "integratively" i.e. not limiting my approach to one school of therapy. This ensures that my approach is unique for each client. My various qualifications coupled with recent past experience of working as a Counsellor in the City of Coventry enables me to work with clients in an innovative and creative fashion. 

 

Furthermore, I had volunteered in Africa in a school offering my counselling skills.
